Wealthwood Rod & Gun Club makes donation to Aitkin and Garrison Food Shelves

The Wealthwood Rod & Gun Club held a pancake breakfast on November 20th and collected cash and non-perishable food items from guests attending the breakfast.  This has been an annual event for the club for many years now.  Some of the breakfast profits were also given to the local food shelves and to the Crosby-Ironton School’s Backpack Food Program, which provides some healthy snacks to youth from homes that do not have sufficient groceries to provide regular meals. 

Wealthwoodhostsfour pancake breakfast fundraisers each year for various community programs. At each breakfast, they put out a box to collect items for the food shelf.  The next pancake breakfast is set for Sunday, December 18th.  The Aitkin High School “All Starz” will be serving and will receive half of the net profits of the breakfast.The club welcomes everyone to come for a great meal featuring “Rollies Famous Syrup,” and bring along a food item for our local food shelves.  They really need more donations, especially during this Holiday Season.
